If you enjoy cooking or want to improve your skills while treating your palate, this course is for you! This course is designed for anyone aged 12+. We welcome all folks- no need to be in Scouting to participate!

The focus is cooking and building your skills to the point that you are creating Gourmet food on a camping trip. We like to say it is easier to create great food than bad food, you just need to develop some skills and a playful attitude.

This course will look at all aspects of camp cooking from the heat source to roasts and souffles.

Upon completion you will receive a cookbook of all recipes in the course with space to add your own and a certificate.

Scouts do not need to complete the Cooking Merit Badge to participate in this course, however they will NOT earn the Cooking Merit Badge by participating. Some comfort in the kitchen will help when taking this.
