Join us on Sunday, March 13, 2022 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Donald E. Scott Colorado Adventure Point, 10455 W. 6th Avenue, Ste. 150, Lakewood, CO 80215 and earn the Rifle Merit Badge.
Scouts will earn their Rifle merit badge in the course. Along the way, Scouts will learn concentration and focus with a particular emphasis on the value of patience and practice.
Please note the following:
- Scout must bring a signed Blue Card
- Please bring paper and pencil
- Please bring a signed BSA Health Form at check in
Description: Scouts will earn their Rifle Shooting Merit Badge in a 4 hour class. Whilst earning the Merit Badge they will be introduced to the basics of marksmanship as well as learning some of the operations of firearms operation. Along the way, the Scouts will learn discipline and practice with a particular focus on safety procedures.
Note: This Merit Badge will be completed by Scouts if they are able to hit the necessary shooting requirements for marksmanship. We cannot guarantee your Scout will hit the marks in the time given, but 90% of Scouts do.
This class will be held at Donald E. Scott Colorado Adventure Point. Colorado Adventure Point is located on the west side of Hamilton Scout Headquarters.
